According to the statement of unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30.09.2026 (standalone), Bayer CropScience Limited reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,250.70 cr for the quarter ended 30.09.2026, compared with Rs 1,553.40 cr in the corresponding quarter ended 30.09.2025. Total income for the quarter was Rs 1,264.10 cr versus Rs 1,567.20 cr a year earlier, with other income at Rs 13.40 cr against Rs 13.80 cr in the prior-year quarter.

Total expenses for the quarter were Rs 1,052.70 cr, down from Rs 1,366.90 cr in the same quarter last year. Within this, cost of materials consumed was Rs 717.90 cr (Q2 FY26: Rs 715.90 cr), purchases of stock-in-trade were Rs 38.40 cr (Q2 FY26: Rs 102.10 cr), and changes in inventories of finished goods, work-in-progress and stock-in-trade stood at Rs (42.80) cr compared with Rs 203.60 cr a year earlier. Employee benefits expense was Rs 105.50 cr versus Rs 112.50 cr, finance costs were Rs 4.70 cr versus Rs 4.40 cr, depreciation and amortisation expense was Rs 15.00 cr versus Rs 14.40 cr, and other expenses were unchanged at Rs 214.00 cr versus Rs 214.00 cr in the corresponding quarter.

Profit before tax for the quarter ended 30.09.2026 was Rs 211.40 cr, compared with Rs 200.30 cr in the quarter ended 30.09.2025. After a total tax expense of Rs 45.20 cr (Q2 FY26: Rs 47.60 cr), profit for the period was Rs 166.20 cr, up from Rs 152.70 cr in the year-ago quarter. Earnings per share (basic and diluted, not annualised) for the quarter were Rs 36.98^, compared with Rs 33.98^ in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, as disclosed in the statement of financial results.
